SHARE Cares Food Fund
SHARE is an important link in the chain of food security in nearly 200 communities. In celebration of our 25th Anniversary Year, our nonprofit food buying club has established the SHARE Cares Food Fund. By raising funds to help feed families in need, the fund extends the reach and impact of our work. Anniversary Cookbook
Coming This Fall!
The SHARE 25th Anniversary Cookbook will be published this fall and will feature around 150 recipes from SHARE members and volunteers. Proceeds will benefit the SHARE Cares Food Fund to help feed families in need throughout our service area. We will offer the cookbook for $10.00 on our November and December order forms, just in time for the holidays! We are not accepting pre-orders. SHARE host sites will receive a sample copy in September for members to view before ordering. So stay tuned!

Everyone is welcome to purchase food and/or help with distribution. Plus, groups and organizations can purchase packages for their holiday community outreach programs. |

SHARE's Mobile Market program now serves over a dozen Metro Milwaukee locations, making it more convenient than ever to save 30-50% on groceries! 14 Carrot Gold Award
In 2009 SHARE Wisconsin and its executive director Paulette Flynn were selected to receive the 14 Carrot Gold Award from the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services. The award recognizes the efforts of individuals and organizations to promote consumption of fruits and vegetables.
The DHS issued a press release recognizing SHARE for increasing access to affordable fresh produce throughout the state by introducing its online ordering system. The state also singled out SHARE's new Mobile Market program for bringing fresh fruits and vegetables to underserved communities in the Milwaukee area. |

SHARE helps families save money on food every month, and our occasional warehouse inventory sales are a great chance to save! We’ll host two more warehouse sales for our holiday dinner packages, but this is your last chance of the year to stock up on SHARE’s wide selection of frozen meats, fresh produce and canned & dry goods—most items at special prices even better than SHARE’s typical savings of 30-50% compared to grocery store prices. September 2010 marks the completion of SHARE's 25th year, and the beginning of another 25 years of building and strengthening community through volunteer service! Many local SHARE volunteer teams are holding special Anniversary Celebrations, so ask how you can get involved. Plus, on Saturday, October 2 from 1-4pm, SHARE's main office in Butler, WI, will hold a special Anniversary Open House for volunteers, friends and partners. We'll have music, refreshments, a door prize drawing and special surprises! Please RSVP with the names of everyone in your group to jleach@sharewi.org by September 13. All t-shirts are made from high quality 100% pre-shrunk cotton and are available in sizes Small through 4XL. Short-sleeve t-shirts are available in maroon and sand/tan, priced at $8, and 4XL cost $9. Long-sleeve t-shirts are available in maroon only for $10, and 4XL cost $11. Maroon one-size-fits-all baseball caps with a buckle strap are $7.
